A little over a decade ago, after unsuccessfully venturing out on my own as an entrepreneur, I became involved in traditional real estate. Soon after, I recognized that my income was limited. Having bigger dreams and aspirations than the traditional real estate business would allow me to achieve, I recognized my limitations and knew I needed more education in order to advance to the levels I aspired.
I was introduced to the Florida Real Estate Investors Association and after speaking with other members, knew that I must become a member of the organization myself. I knew I needed a partner to assist me in my real estate investment endeavors.
My investment paid off handsomely; in a short while I was creating real income and recognized that the investment real estate niche, not traditional real estate, is where my financial future would be established. Not only that, I loved the organization so much that I married into it and soon found myself its’ President!
That’s right, Juan married me and now we host this incredible organization together. Why is it the best real estate investment association in the country? The Florida Real Estate Investors Association was founded in 1998. Having begun investing in 1992, myself and a business partner realized the need for an organization where seasoned and aspiring real estate investors could regularly come together for networking and continuing education, along with other benefits and investor friendly businesses that they could get products and services from at lower than retail pricing. Founded over more than a decade now, it’s grown to offer incredible education through its’ monthly meetings, workshops, focus groups, products and programs.
Today, the Florida Real Estate Investors Association maintains monthly meetings, workshops and thanks to the power of technology, many other opportunities to educate yourself. Members have access to a special private area of the Website where they can access vital forms and special information to help them learn and profit. Our friendly family atmosphere incorporates a membership for your kids too – don’t you wish you would have learned how to invest in real estate when it really mattered - during your youth? We do. We also know what it’s like to be a new investor with limited funds and experience, so that’s why we created the Partnership Program, helping members do their very first wholesale deal. Each month, we bring in amazing speakers who are experts in their fields on subjects relevant to today’s market, including profitable or money saving techniques that each investor can apply right now. We encourage networking and provide a monthly vendor trade show where our investor-friendly business members share their wares by tabletop expo while our guests enjoy fantastic hors d’oeuvres. The curriculum designed by the Florida Real Estate Investors Association is a guide for new investors to follow and has been carefully put together based on years of experience in this business. Each new member is given this “map” to proper education as a guide to follow for developing a solid foundation in this industry.
At our meetings and workshops, you can expect to learn about strategies and techniques never taught in traditional real estate schools. Why? Traditional real estate schools lack the real and very legal knowledge to pass along to its students regarding the unique niches (and there are so many) to making real money investing in real estate. The investment real estate arena is an art. The difference between earning a fortune and losing a fortune is all about your education and who you surround yourself with. You’ve heard that you are influenced by those you hang around with, right? Well, if you want to change your circle of influence, you’ll need to trade in your friends or bring them with you. Either way, it’s up to you to make the change.
